Brysgaga Welsh Black Beef
Breeding and branding to achieve a Premium Price for a Premium Product!
Feedback from carcase grades as we finish our own stock, can have a huge impact on future breeding decisions, such as selecting stock bulls to develop the herd and moving the breed forwards.

At Brysgaga, all steers and a few females not suitabe for breeding, are finished on farm with the vast majority achieving target weight, grade and finish at 22-24 months old.

Recent developments include a collaboration with a select number of forward thinking, like minded breeders initially set up an Agriscope group through Farming Connect. The aims of the group included raising breed awareness and to maximise returns for group members through branding of Welsh Black Beef. This exciting venture is still ongoing - Watch this space!
